Plan 1
One hour of recording time with editing. $150 Included in this fee structure is travel time* and expense, set up and take down of equipment, editing ( at least four hours for every hour), burning of one archival-quality gold CD burned into chapters plus custom-designed covers of jewel cases with customer provided photographs and delivery of the finished Oral Histories.
Plan 2
Two hours of recording with editing. $300
Plan 3
Recording until the job is finished or portions of hours. $50 an hour for recording plus $100 for each hr. recorded for editing. (Three to four hours of recording has been the longest to date.)
Additional CDs may be ordered for $7 each. A compact disc holds 80 minutes. If the oral history requires two or more CDs, each CD is $7 each. Sales tax added to the total.
* Thirty miles of total travel included. Extra mileage charged at standard rate government rate of 51 cents per mile for 2011.
These are extremely reasonable fees. Prices will increase in 2012
